Yellowstone National Park

1872 – Americas first national Park. One geyser recognized worldwide. Iconic hot springs. Classic Lodges. More is known about this park than perhaps any in the world. American Buffalo or Bison, Wolves, Coyotes, Big horn Sheep, Ruffled Grouse, Eagles, Elk, trout still find it home. Geothermal features color the landscape and punctuate the air with showers of steam while precipitating travertine shelves dissolved from the limestone bedrock and brought up through the fractures of the earth by superheated waters. Bitter Cold. Humid Hot. Pouring rain, snow balance dry Montana and Wyoming summers. Rivulet’s, Streams and huge lakes. Canyons and mountains. It is a continent within a continent.
