The ocean has its own colors. Penetrating sunlight allows the coral and fish to exhibit a plethora of brilliant hues. The slow purposeful swimming of a shark or sting ray give a French Polynesia flavor to relaxing as you float the warm salt waters suspended above the ocean floor. The Maxima Clam and moray eel create contrasts of welcome and warning.
Once grand volcanoes rose from the ocean floor to provide a foothold for the corals which grew into barrier reefs and then formed atolls surrounding Tahiti, Moorea, Raiatea, Huahine,Tahaa and Bora Bora. The tropical sun is dimished as one swims deeper into the water, filtering the rainbow of light until it washes out into the deep blue of the depths of the ocean.
