Air
The air blows across the earth and is one of the few things that touches all of us. It reaches into the outer limits of the planet, filters the energy of the sun in the sun, with the raw element of Oxygen existing only in the lower reaches in sufficient concertation to allow us to breath. It stops at the surface of the oceans and land.
The air is what connects the islands and continents. It is across this that the loons, the arctic tern, the puffin and “birds of all feather” make their way to Iceland. It on the winds and air that the survivor of millions of years of evolution, the dinosaurs that escaped the extinction take flight. Finding the place where predators cannot discovery them, and where they can breed in peace.
